A BID ABOUT US

After more than three years in its planning the KINGSBRIDGE BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (BID) finally opened its doors on December 18, 2002. The BID was created with the support of all property owners. Projects like holiday lights, cleaning programs and media awareness are but a few of the programs started early in its existence.

OPTIMISM AND HARD WORK

We have a sense of optimism about the business and merchant community. Our primary focus is to spruce up the shopping area. We have begun to promote cleanliness, removing hazardous obstacles for shoppers, improving the appearance of the buildings and improving the communication among the community on issues that will help make the Kingsbridge area a shopping and commercial destination.

The Kingsbridge BID is here to help promote the wellbeing of the business community and on many occassions will take up tough issues relating to excessive sidewalk displays, illegal vendors, graffiti and chained promotion boxes all which detract from the neighborhood appearance.
