Facade Improvement Program
The Kingsbridge BID has developed a program, for
retailers or property owners to upgrade their storefronts and
signage by providing funds to subsidize a portion of the cost
of the improvement up to a maximum of $500 per storefront.
Improvements include New, Upgrade or Replacement of:
Security gates |
Exterior lighting |
Facade painting or cleaning |
Signage |
Awnings |
Doors/ Doorframes |
Window glass |
Interior & exterior security |
Second story graffiti |

Selection Process
Completed applications will be selected on a ‘first-come,
first served’ basis.
Property owners can receive funds toward the removal of signs
relating to businesses that no longer exist.
Participant Responsibilities
· Filing and obtaining, at its own expense,
any and all permits necessary to complete the improvement work.
· Participant will be solely responsible
for ensuring that the improvements are in accordance with all
City and/or State Codes.
· Verifiable receipts must be submitted
that exhibit a direct connection to the improvement.
Grant Amounts
Each property owner or commercial tenant will be eligible for
a one-time grant up to 50% of the cost but not to exceed $500.
Term: The participant agrees to
complete the improvements within four months from project acceptance
by the Kingsbridge BID. In the event the participant fails to
complete the improvements within this time period, the project
will be deemed terminated and the BID will have no further obligation
or agreement with the participant.
